Terms of Service
Last updated: DRAFT
1. Who we are
These terms are between you and Ealo ("we", "us"), the operator of this store. Our full legal entity name, registered address and company number are to be confirmed by legal before launch.
2. What we sell
We sell prepaid eSIM data plans for use while travelling. A plan gives you a data allowance, valid for a stated number of days, usable in the destinations listed on the plan's page. We are a reseller: the underlying mobile network is operated by our supplier and their local partner networks.
3. Your device
eSIM plans only work on an eSIM-capable device that is not locked to another carrier. Checking that your device is compatible and unlocked before you buy is your responsibility. Compatibility guidance is on our FAQ.
4. Buying and paying
Prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes in the currency you select. We take payment at the time of purchase through our payment processor; we never store your full card details. Your plan is delivered by email as a QR code and activation details, normally within a few minutes of a successful payment.
5. Activation and validity
Your validity period starts when the eSIM first connects to a network, not when you buy it. Once the validity period ends or the data allowance is used up, the plan stops working. Unused data is not carried over and is not refundable.
6. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use our service unlawfully, resell it, or use it in a way that disrupts the network. We may suspend a plan that appears to be used in breach of this section or of our supplier's terms.
8. Service availability
Mobile coverage depends on our supplier's partner networks and is not guaranteed in any specific location. We are not liable for loss caused by lack of coverage in a particular place, though nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Your data
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the version published here at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Questions go to our support address, shown at checkout and in the footer.
